i like donaire but i dislike the fact he doesnt really set up his punches and wings it for the k.o. I'm more into guys who are slick and yet have great combos. Cuba knows how to please fans

culturally he is an american and personally i think he's just trying too hard to get filipino support that makes it look not natural most of the time. that's just me though. it's not exaclty dislike, i just don't care much for his career or antics. i like boxing though so i do watch his fights. i just don't support him.

He is saying, America ruined him by trying to much hit and run.

That thoery should only be used to car drivers.

its an effective style, and it's nice to watch the problem is the fact that he fell in love with his power always trying to get the ko

He does it when he faces fighters who really don't have any chance of beating him.

He can be methodical if faced with the right opponent because he has that skill pedigree to fall back if thingsgo wrong.

There is nothing bad with a fighter who always goes for a KO. It is exciting and commendable.

He might be trying too hard but heck, it is his face tha is being punched!!! You are all sensitive ****s. He is winning by country-mile while taking risk. He could probably coast and win relatively easy, without inflicting any damage because he really is quite fast. But we already have Mayweather, Ward and Broner for that. Enough.

I got more respect for Donaire than Pacman. He doesn't ask for catchweights. First chance Pacman fights real threats like Jmm and someone in their prime like Bradley he loses.

Broner has more KO's and a higher KO% than Nonito. he is also more aggresive and goes for the kill more than Nonito. you obviously havent watched him fight ******.

When Donaire fought Mathebula in Carson, CA, on of the largest Filipino communities in America, there were maybe 500 Filipinos that came to watch among the 2K-3K in attendance.

I'm a fan. But I can see why many Filipinos don't like him. Too cocky.. a trait looked down upon in the Philippines as well as other East Asian countries.

Donaire is fake! Disrespectful to his family and his culture and his roots. Manny Pacquiao is the true sincere filipino that loves his parents even though he went through some tough times with his father. He gives back 1000 fold and prides himself as a true filipino. Donaire is an americanized wannabe Manny pacquiao, which he will never come close to being. Manny Pacquiao is the best!!!:smoke:smoke:smoke:smoke:smoke:smoke:smoke:smoke:smoke:smoke

That's not really a good comparison, is it? Pac never asked for catchweights until he reached WW. They both won titles at 112. And Pac beat Bradley.

most Filipinos love winners until they start losing. they are quite unforgiving to some prospects who lose..they quickly brand them as bums.etc.

“Don’t forget that this housing project, I bought this with my bout with Margarito. In my fight with Margarito, I was hit here,” Pacquaio said jokingly, pointing at his right side.
    .......

“Congressman Pacquiao you have touched 195 lives today, maraming salamat,” said Gov. Migs Dominguez.

The governor also said that in Glan, more than 25 hectares of resettlement sites have been established with Mayor Victor James Yap.

Mayor Yap said the construction of 195 houses would start soon here.

Barangay Captain Edwin Pacaldo said the relocation site would be called Pacman-Tata Yap Village.

During the groundbreaking ceremony, Pacaldo disclosed that “our congressman grew up here in our barangay.”

Pacaldo said Pacquiao came back to help homeless constituents own a decent house and lot.

The village chief said Habitat would build 200 houses here. Ten houses were already undergoing construction.

Pacquaio was building two housing projects in Tango. The lot in Purok 1, Tango proper, was worth P1.5 million with a barangay government counterpart of P750,000 and another P750,000 from the congressman. There are 94 beneficiaries in Purok 1.

Pacaldo said that for the housing project that broke ground here, Congressman Pacquiao spent P2 million from his own pocket for the lot. For more news and updates, please visit the Province of Sarangani .
