GGG might be the frontrunner at the moment. However if Algieri can beat Pac and Terrence Crawford beats Beltran those are 2 guys who could win it.

Is it possible that Pacquiao gets it for Bradley/Algieri?

I think organizations would rather give the prize to a recognizable fighter like Pacquiao than an unknown like Crawford.

Don't leave out R.Gonzalaz, I think him Crawford, & Kovalev should be the top 3 choices.

LOL @ GGG as frontrunner that is HILARIOUS!... HE ONLY FOUGHT ONE GUY IN THE TOP 10 OF HIS DIVISION. GET OUT LOL

If crawford beats Beltran he should win it....

Floyd can't win for beating a non top 10 welter 2x...

Pac can't win because Algeri isn't that strong of an opponent. If he fought Marquez here instead of Algeri and won he would defintely be fighter of the year.

Roman Gonzales could be considered as well.

Maidana was in the top 10 at the weight. But I don't think he's in the running this year, either way.

If Crawford wins against Beltran, especially if it's in impressive fashion, then he would be my front runner. That said, Gonzalez probably warrants just as much consideration. Kovalev isn't all that far behind, either.

Floyd won the writers award but not the ring award, and he almost shutout Alvarez.

Kovalev should win fighter of the year. He just beat a living legend for two extra world titles.

Algieri should get it if he beats Pacquiao, but otherwise it should go to Kovalev or Gonzalez. I don't really think Crawford should be in the running regardless of how he does vs Beltran.

Kovalev or Crawford will win it. Roman G isn't popular enough to stand a chance, regardless of his P4P ranking
