Probably something to do with making yourself feel better about yourself. Let's be honest a lot of these guys are in positions many people on these forums would like to be in. Weather its Joshua or say Ronaldo. If we can take them down slightly it makes us feel that bit better about ourselves.

Its actually quite ridiculous when you think about it...half the people on this forum probably haven,t boxed a day in their life and yet easily turn round and say something derogatory about a world champions fighting ability. I reckon it does have some sort of physiological effect. If there that bit lower it somehow makes the one doing the talking feel a little bit better themselves.

Reckon the reasons people use to hate are pretty much irrelevant. Its that feeling that people are chasing. I can come on here and say for example amir khans fantastic....super fast hands he's achieved so much etc. When you start to compare your life with what these people have achieved the vast majority of us have came no where close to that. Is more likely to make us feel worse about ourselves. On the otherhand if I came on and said....khans hopeless. He has no chin. Useless. In comparison in my mind I m better than khan even if its for a minute....physcoligically its more likely to make you feel better. I bet successul people in life spend less time hating on others than the guys that haven,t made much of themselves.

We,re kind of programmed to achieve. We pretty much take achievements as success. If we,re not achieving its easier to make other peoples achievements seem lesser instead of congratulating the success. Pretty much human nature more than boxing reasons mostly imo.

its not just fighters, its these skirt wearing fans that take anything negative said about their man crush, as a personal insult. jesus is hated by more than half of you and you wonder why someone could hate some infinitely flawed individual who you happen to currently have a crush on.
