If Joshua is making 10 surely your worth 10%. Why on earth should Anthony Joshua sell himself short for these guys? Hearn already saying he knows he has to overpay guys to fight Joshua. Historically Boxers have had to sell themselves short to get the chance to fight for a belt and hope they win and can become the next star but it isnt usually the main man, the A side, the man with most the belts that is the one that has to take the hit in the pocket. I dont want to see either Parker or Wilder get lowballed or shafted but they both have had more time as professionals than Joshua, have longer records yet Joshua,s resume sort of pisses on them. He has done all the work here as has his promoter. While the likes of Haymon and Higgins, experienced promoters have sat on their fighters taking large chunks of smaller fights and not putting in the work team Joshua have. These guys need to be realistic.
The truth is they probably don't want to fight Anthony Joshua yet. They are probably inspired by what Hearn has done with Joshua and want to raise their profile to something closer to that .... so they can make better money ... .... and the only idea they come up with (esp. in Wilder's case) is piggybacking off of Joshua's name by talking about fighting him. Which isn't a bad idea really.
