Do title bouts take place without drug testing?

    if so then that's ridiculous. Should be a 'must' to take drug tests for both pairs. Leaving the decision up to the fighters or others is plain stupid.

    it is regulated by the comission..however, like most fighters, they hire outside/additional drug testing. (usada/vada etcc..)

    Yes. And even sometimes when testing is in place, one of the fighters ducks it.
    Also when caught it doesn't always mean you'd been punished for it.

    Testing in boxing is a pretty sad joke.
    Can you imagine there were athletes during the winter olympics that were tested over 20 times during those games by various agencies, and some boxingfans believed they were cheating, but not their favorite boxer. The irony

    You, do realise more stringent testing did not come into being, until it was mentioned by floyd right? WHY, DID PAC RUN FOR THE HILLS AGAIN?
