There have been quite a few lawsuits involving whether a fight had, or had not agreed to a contractual extension on the basis of a conversation which may or may not have happened. I find this incredulous at top level. In football at all levels you have agents, lawyers and Directors of Football spending weeks covering every clause imaginable. One would assume boxing is the same, but the lawsuits keep on coming
