Does this happen or do they have to be built into stars first? Are there any recent examples throughout boxing history?

Dubois vs Joyce arguably. I appreciate Joyce is far too old to be a "prospect" really but he turned over late and it was still relatively early in both of their pro careers.

Usually they ar build into at least enough good local tickets sellers at first.
However I had saw some very risky and tough fights in local level shows: fe 1-0-0 pro boxer vs 6-0-0 pro boxer and a debut fight between two KBers, young lads in their pro boxing debut fight, this was damn competitive like 50/50 fight. 6 rounder for pro boxing debut ended with a draw.
In one case both of them were decent tickets sellers for such small show.

Ofc there a lot of other things had been, these 2 were most remarkable for me.

Seems it use to be more common years ago. But now building a no loss record and fighters into matketable items is the goal.
