My fault for not clarifying. But i just assumed that hard core fans who followed this from the start knew that the split wasn't the issue initially as both were seen as about equal in the ppv department.
Thats not what happened. After money got agreed on the problem was still testing. They only wanted to be tested three times. Arum went to Manilla to tell Manny everything was a go early Dec. Roach then tells Arum March is too soon. "March 13 is too fast a turnaround. Manny has a broken eardrum. I'd like to have more time," roach Arum tells him "It has to be March 13 because of this crazy congressional thing," Arum would tell Ronnie Nathanielsz of PhilBoxing.com. "We have everything in place to get it done but we've got to start now. There is no reason why Pacquiao wouldn't do the fight. He trains in the months of January and February and we are not doing a tour and doing only one press conference in New York at Madison Square Garden...If he let's Mayweather off the hook now by not agreeing to the March 13 date because of politics here in this country, then we are never going to get him [Mayweather] in the ring. Pac argees with Arum but then Koncz says "Manny has some additional requirements, requests, which Arum didn't think was a problem," Additional demands made by manny which turned out to be restrictions on the testing
Well then if the split wasn't the issue than Manny Pacquiao ducked the fight during the only time when decision-makers from both sides sat down and negotiated directly. Period. In hindsight he turned down a perfect deal.
Who gives a ****? People make a big deal out of this crap, over basically nothing. Like some shot is gonna make a palooka into an ATG. It's ludicrous!
This article is about the Jewish religion. For consideration of ethnic, historic and cultural aspects of the Jewish identity, see Jews. Page semi-protected Judaism (from the Latin Iudaismus, derived from the Greek Ἰουδαϊσμός, and ultimately from the Hebrew יהודה, Yehudah, "Judah";[1][2] in Hebrew: יהדות, Yahadut, the distinctive characteristics of the Judean ethnos)[3] is the religion, philosophy and way of life of the Jewish people.[4] Judaism is a monotheistic religion, with its main inspiration being based on or found in the Hebrew Bible (also known as the Tanakh) which has been explored in later texts, such as the Talmud. Judaism is considered by religious Jews to be the expression of the covenantal relationship God established with the Children of Israel.[5] By all means get angry with my anti religious opinions, but don't bring race into it, as it is irrelevant. Now if you do want to bring race into the equation you might like to read the transcript from the IBF / Bobby Lee investigation, in which there is a taped conversation between Arum and Cedric Kushner ( another Jew ) where the consensus was " Let the n££££££s do the fighting and we'll get the money "
Neither. if any person is to blame, it would be the managers and promoters. Still, I am not as dissapointed as some people seem to be. For me, it would have been yet another demonstration by Mayweather of why a great boxer will always defeat a good brawler. I have mayweather beating a prime Pac as easily as he defeated Mosley.
