Just read back and realized what you are talking about with the Calzaghe stuff. Let me guess, you are of the sort that thinks Pavlik will KO him?

    No.

I occasionally underestimate fighters I really dislike.

    That's normal for every fan.

My case when I picked Morales over Sahir, Katsidis over Campbell, Taylor against Pavlik or even Arce over Mijares.

Talking about over estimating a fighter. I remember a few years ago someone bringing a young middleweight to ft worth tx from las vegas. He was supposedly 12-0 with 10 ko's and thought of as championship potential He was in the gym running his mouth about being brought to " A hick town with bull crap everywhere what can they teach me here" No one paid him attention till he came out with the ridiculous Theres nothin in Texas but steers and queers saying.
Now you dont say things like that in Texas LOL every fighter in gym wanted to spar with him even Quincy Taylor at the time the WBC champ. To cut it short they put a young kid texas golden gloves champ ready to turn pro in with him. It was obvious the Vegas kid had nothing our boy Jesse whupped up on him bad even doing the Ali shuffle on him embarassing him. Vegas got mad that was all Jesse wanted he decked him . His manager jumped in ring saying " Are you trying to hurt my boy" Jesse said " No Sir but I'm a proud Texan and no egotistical fraud claiming to be a boxer is gonna insult Texas without getting Texas justice".
Fighter and manager left like dogs with their tails between their legs
Guess the moral is DONT MESS WITH TEXAS lol

An opinion on what?! I am honestly having a really hard time following you. If your talking about a Pavlik/JC fight then ill give an opinion. Personally I think Calzaghe doing what he's doing right now is just to hype the fight. Pretty much like I think Cotto/PBF is going to happen in '09 after Cotto beats Oscar for his last fight. I see Calzaghe having too much ring knowledge for Pavlik with too much speed and movement. This fight goes the distance , and is much closer than most JC fans think. I give Calzaghe the SD or close UD nod, without going too much in-depth.
    Is that what you wanted?

Same here. It must be some sort of disorder we have. Seeing the glass half full I suppose. Question, does anyone see a beer glass as half full? or is it "Time to order antoher"?

you suggested opinions dont have to be offered in return because it's "fact".

this is a boxing forum so nothing is that dismissive.

you have to back up everything you say IMO.

I wanted to see Kostya comeback and fight PBF.

I was hoping to see him KO PBF but in all likely logic would tell me that at that stage of their careers, PBF would brutally school him.

I also expected Winky to outwork and school Hopkins. I dismissed Hopkins success with other southpaws and also didnt expect Winky to come in out of shape.
