    Dam right...

    He's a winner...!

I am not saying he is going to become a Heavyweight Champion..

But with his dedication and work ethic, i have no choice to take him seriously.

    Agreed.

However, if the guy got a proper team behind him he could go pretty far.

He lacks power, aside from his decent left hook to the body

Not a great athlete - McDermott outworked him

Lacks the basic skills to get the most out of his lovely jab, McDermott was on his chest with ease, every time, no movement from Fury and he stopped jabbing after 2 rounds

Very game, 10/10 on that score for the other night, he thought he was losing and he threw some bombs that last round, he's got a fighters mentality

All in all I don't see anything to suggest a world class fighter, personally

Im going the other direction from most. After the performance from the weekend it seems he is a lot more talk than he is action. He was beaten very convincingly and saved by a judge/ref/fraudster.

The most hyped fighters (or potential cash cows) always get the nod these days regardless of whether or not they win (unless they are KO'd)

Its getting so bad these days that wrong decisions are becoming as popular as right ones :(

No, I don't take him seriously. He claims to be the best thing since Ali, and just got outboxed John McDermott. He's domestic level and needs to get himself in shape and keep his mouth in check until he's achived a lot more, IMO.

Hamed's ego was equivilent to his ability.
