Vitali seems to have the kind of punch that wears an opponent down gradually. He more batters guys into a stoppage. Punishes.

Haye, as we saw when he was a cruiserweight and tonight has the explosive punch power that can lead to quick KOs.

Who do you think punches harder? Frank ****** said prior to tonight's fight he thinks Vitali. It would be interesting to ask Chisora now. Vitali only seemed to hurt him once or twice and not in the way Haye did, obv.

Haye punches harder, he plants his feet more and really sits on his punches.
Alot faster also ... I still think Vit-Haye is 50/50 though.Slight edge to Haye.

    Yes.

Haye's so fast you dont see his punches therefore you cant prepare for them. Ie check the supposed big punch Wlad lands on Haye, Haye see's the shot and carries it somewhat by moving his head backwards before the punch lands.

With Haye's punches you dont see them so cant prepare, he also gambles a little by putting his whole body into the punch, he turns his whole body as he did tonight the the left hook.

Vitali punching downwards and he isnt quick is a different type of power, it's power you can prepare for to a degree.

With Haye, you just dont want to get hit flush by him at all, Wlad fought the perfect fight in fairness.

because he had to adapt his style after getting found out by sanders.
never use to be that tentative, but its necessary for him now.

Haye went 12 rounds with Wlad, but was KO'd in 5 by Carl Thompson. So does Carl have a more explosive punching power than the batter's brother Wlad?

I remember an interesting video where danny williams compares the punches he took from vitali and from tyson. He said Tyson had concussive type power which shocks you, which I believe david haye also possesses. With Vitali he said Vit had punches which were painful and hurt. I dont really get it either but yea

yeah haye has something similar to tyson but not as destructive.

tyson had genuine speed and genuine power, and thats the type of combo which can deck anyone at any time - which is why a young tyson was so destructive

Vitali is 41 years old and has been through 3 difficult surgeries on knee, spine and shoulder. So yea, I'd say he's much different now than he was 10 years ago. Not an excuse, just a fact.

Imagine a 41 year old Haye's speed, power and accuracy compared to a 31 year old.

Vitali never has one-punch-power. He always was a "volume-puncher". And Vitali shows his age, he is 40 turns 41.
