    Just watching last night some of the shots that Rios was able to take, I am thinking we need to classify his chin as something harder than granite, diamond? Do people already talk about diamond chins? I think Rios and Margarito would be my first proposals for bestowing the 'diamond chin' tag. Who else would you put forward?

    Chuvalo and McCall would also be appropriate for this designation.

    Yes, I remember the 2nd Lewis fight when McCall stood there at times taking clean right hand from Lennox, was pretty scary stuff actually.

    Hagler and LaMotta certainly would be considered "diamond chins" too.

    ON a different level, Randall "Tex" Cobb deserves a mention. Yeah, he got annihilated late in his career when he was all coked up, but in his prime, he was packing diamond in that mandible!

    :think Wikipedia tells me this is harder than diamond so this suggestion is the winner so far.

    Lamotta once said "My chin isn't as godlike as people think, if I really did take that many shots in my career, I would have been close to dead. I just knew how to roll the punches off with my face. It's a little trick"

    Still, amazing chin. But not as GODLIKE as everyone would people say it is.

    That's probably true, but when he got hit clean, he could take a punch like very few ever could. We all know when he refused to go down vs SRR, he was getting hit clean over and over in successive punches, and SRR could punch.

    On a side note, JCC has to be considered a "diamond chin" too. Before he went on the decline, he walked through bombs like they were pesky flies.

    Jake lamotta deservs a mention.

    But people have to stop exagirating. It's like everyone is excpecting a chin of a Amir or Wladimir.

    Iron is a great descripion and It really should range from these;

    Glass, Soft chin, Normal chin, Strong chin and Iron chin.

    Soon we will divide chins into different categories like WORLDS BEST CHIN or WORLDS BEARD ASSOCIATION.

    Rios chin is un-fkn-believeable!!!

    He seems to have an iron face too... taking all those bombs, and barely a mark on him. wtf?
