Do we need a 'night of the young heavyweights' today?

    Back in 1996, when the division was stacked up, lively and kicking, there happened a 'night of the young heavyweights', an event that matched six of the top rising pugilists of the time. The results were as follows:

    David Tua KOed John Ruiz
    Darroll Wilson KOed Shannon Briggs
    Andrew Golota stopped Danell Nicholson

    Would you like to see a similar night in 2025? If yes, who should be the six boxers involved? Maybe the following list deserves attention:

    Moses Itauma vs. Justis Huni
    Fabio Wardley vs. Jared Anderson
    Bakhodir Jalolov vs. Richard Torrez

    Honestly a lot of the backlog at HW are not young fighters but guys in their early 30s who haven't gotten shots and are kinda stuck. Thats the sort of fighter that needs to be sorted through right now.

    These guys have got time. And an event like this would kick half of them down the ladder.
