Do we need a troll block/ban for ESB?

Yeah people like Relentless are cool and aren't trolls. The type like you mention who make threads about one fighter over and over need to be dealt with.

 

kg0208 and brooklyn would both make good mods, both are classy posters, neither ever insult anyone and are never biased, i've never seen either of them lose it before except for the time when brooklyn wanted to fight jack presscot

but my fear is that every time someone starts posting some **** that takes the **** a little bit we'll send out the "troll lynch mob"....im all for it... so long as it doesnt end up in a whole bunch of finger pointing and over officious cencorship....

Believe me I understand your point. I would never want someone who goes on an occasional rant or even simply has an abrasive posting style to get banned (Blocky for example is very abrasive, but that's just who he is).

When I came back after the crash, my first 2 weeks here someone accused me of being his alias. And Jack read it and started going around pretending I WAS his alias, basically agreeing with whatever I said with a little laugh at the end....

 

But to think of the drunken fun you could have with all that power!!

It's posters like yourself that have to be mods though. Others who lose their cool too easily would just have a Reggie Hammond complex.

 

It was February of last year and I mentioned how I was going down to the De La Hoya/Mayweather press conference in Detroit. Said I was hoping to get an autograph of either one of them. I had a Sam Peter avatar at the time and he said something about me being an idiot for picking Peter to KO Maskaev. It turned into Oscarsexual insults, I believe, and I told him to come to Detroit and say it to my face.

It's fair to say I've learned from that experience. 1) not to blow up from an argument on an internet message board and 2) to ignore Jack Presscot.
