Do we need anymore proof that Manny was scared of fighting Floyd?

Manny is a **** body puncher and is a head hunter, that's one of the many reason why Manny won't beat PBF. You have a better chance of hitting PBF to the body than you do his head.

Floyd has some fights where he was backed in the ropes/corner

but his opponents didn't mix it up from head to body punches, and weird angle attacks. (only pacquiao does this)

with all due respect sir but no other fighter that Floyd fought had the style of Pacquiao. they maybe offensive and aggressive but not the Pacquiao style.

so no.. Floyd hasn't fought that style yet.

um.. Pac did a lot of very good body blows on the Oscar, Hatton, Cotto fight.

i agree that he was a "shitty" body puncher before,(barrera, marquez, morales fights) but he has tremendously improved since those fights..

unless you haven't seen his latest fights of course

Arum doesn't want this guy anywhere near Pacquiao inside a boxing ring because he knows what is going to happen:

    [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_tma-5riGoc[/ame]

Bob is a lot of things, but he is not stupid. Bob is interested in keeping the Pacquiao money train moving forward. Letting Pacquiao get schooled by Mayweather in the ring does not help his earning power.

If Mayweather was still being promoted by Top Rank, Arum would have already fed Pacquiao to Mayweather. :deal

None of this is really an issue.

So what? Floyd bragged about how easy manny is. But that doesn;t mean he isn't entitled to level the playing field. Only an idiot would take what another idiot says as complete gospel. Don't try to use ignorant braggadacio as a basis for a serious negotiation.

Kimchie, you're acting as if Pac will be able to get Mayweather on the ropes in the first place. I also don't know why you're obsessed with this notion that you need to mix up shots from weird angles to hit floyd. If you haven't noticed, when Floyd is on the ropes he does one of two things. He'll either shoulder roll and parry, in which case you can only hit him with body shots or a straight (if you're lucky). Otherwise he'll duck and move when he's on the ropes.

i checked the thread, and there's no link there that can be evidence that Roach agreed to a 5 day before the fight testing.. only a quote from a poster.

i also watched the youtube video.. and Roach said they agreed on the Olympics Style Drug testing which is TRUE. they agreed to that 24 days before the fight and after the fight(which i think is sufficient enough to know if a fighter is on PEDS - test him after the fight)

so i don't even know why people are ignoring the fact that Pac agreed to be tested RIGHT AFTER the fight. if he's on PEDS he will test positive right after the fight. Pac agreed to that, but Floyd still insisted on a blood test too close to the fight because he knows it will make Pac back off the fight, therefore Floyd won't need to fight Pac.

because he's never fought a fighter like Pac that can't hit you in angels(weird angles from the southpaw stance)

With Floyd's defense he only leaves open a few angles you can hit him with. So unless Pac's going to be countering (which pac doesn't really do) with those weird angle shots I doubt he's going to land that much.

punching with speed and weird angles will make Floyd's defenses sometimes go in different position, and when it does some punches will land.

unlike when Dela Hoya backed Floyd into the ropes/corners, Dela Hoya only punched exclusively into the body, that's why Floyd, being the defensive genius that he is, was able to effectively defend against Dela Hoya.

And Manny is a ring genius now???

Manny has 4 rounds before he's exposed and Floyd won't fight Manny like most think he will...he'll hurt Manny because Manny can be hurt...if they ever fight he's going to bully the **** out of Pac.

The way I see it is if May is in the ropes vs pac he will duck and move away. In the middle of the ring he will pot shot and run from most of pac's offense. I just don't see even with those weird angle shots him landing very much.. that works on people like cotto and clottey who will stand in pac's face, but not Mayweather.

He'll definitely get a few shots off, maybe one or two big shots a round or two. But not enough to win the decision I'd imagine.
