Watson had 2 goes at it as did Eubank, neither of them had any success...it is english fans who wear rose tinted glasses about this, the results speak for themselves...they were a similar age, and at a similar winding down point in their careers...your anti Irish bias is obvious to everyone but yourself.

They clearly were all at a similar winding down point in their careers...they all had a similar amount of tough fights prior to meeting each other in the ring. Collins was also past his best at this point.

I think Eubank and Benn were some of the best the uk ever had and I don't underrate them, though Collins clearly had their number.

I dont think it would've made any difference when they fought Collins >>> Benn and Eubank

  3. Nigel Benn is underated he fought and beat top competition , Eubank did not fight top competion and was given some fortunate decisions over his career

To be honest Toney didn't look great against Tony Thornton. On that form Eubank would've beaten him for sure.

Eubank v Toney woulod of been a great fight.

Eubank v Benn would of been something else.

Big nigel fan, but Toney would be too much in the end.

So you think Benn post McClellan was the same as prior ?

You think Chris was as good a finisher at this point as he was pre Watson ? Which performance post Watson 2 matched Benn 1 or Watson 1 or 2 ?

Sumbu Patrizio Kalambay was a fine fighter but there was no fluke involved. Nunn was a special fighter on the way up and it would need a special talent like Toney to defeat him. Toney was a well schooled fighter by Bill Baxter and he got to Nunn in the way oithers could not. The punches you don't see coming and the most devastating. I remember 3 North American fighters on the way up in the late 80's Michael Nunn, Michael Olajide Junior and Olympic gold medal winner Frank Tate. The good gifted guys and the best of them would be great which was Nunn. Now in the 140 pound division we have Ajose Olusegun, the excellent Timothy Bradley and the magnificent Devon Alexander and you know who my money is on.

Benn could never be the same after the McClellan fight.

    I think many people do.

All the Americans, especially Toney, are overrated.

Toney may be many things but overrated is not one of them that is why hre could compete at much higher weights like heavyweight, Light heavyweight, Crusierweight after moving up from Middleweight and Super Middleweight. His skill level and toughness are rare in the modern era.
