Or extremely wide decisions. You must not only win the rounds clearly but remain the aggressor and not give the judges any excuse to score for the home fighter. In Italy they do not favour jab and move.

Fortunately I think the class difference should be too much for the judges to compensate for.

 

Yes. Colin Lynes was robbed recently over there and Witter needs to make sure he can get the stoppage.

I think he can. If he can beat Alexander as well and get a rematch with Bradley, I think he can win that as well.

People forget how good a boxer-puncher Witter is. He has frozen a few times, but has also defeated some top guys too, Kotelnik, Vivian Harris. Good names, Kotelnik is now rated amongst the best of the division, people now forget to put Witter in the top 10!

 

If Witter and his team bothered to study his opponent in depth, and he was a bit more adaptable he would be a force to be reckon with at 140. Unforunately for him he doesn't, which means he can be out fought like Bradley did.

His awkward style and boring fights also mean he's pretty high risk/low reward and doesn't draw big numbers, which is why he finds quality fights few and far between.

Agreed. The guy can bang, but we rarely see his power.

 

He might of learned his lesson now, but he never used to study opponents.

 

To be fair you don't really need to study the likes of Alan Bosworth and Guiseppe Lauri

 

Branco was stood on his head by Lynes - the only mistake Lynes made was not trying to finish him off after decking him. The scoring in that fight was ridiculous.

Don't forget Lynes is just a simple 1-2 merchant..... Witter throws punches from different angles, different styles..... I think it will be a short night for him.
