Do you agree Adamek should be the favourite against Arreola?

Arreola might have a bigger size but not as good as a frame as Adamek.

Their "strenghts" are on par. Workrate is in Adamek favor cause hes in way more shape. Adamek also has great pressure and power.

 

Jab, Jab, Jab... Arreola is good but Adamek is good all around the boards. i'll admit Arreola is faster and has been at times more explosive, but against much lesser fighters.

 

Well, he sure didn't waste much time did he?
Despite Arreola's thin resume, Adamek is basically taking on the 3rd or 4th best HW in the division in just his 3rd HW fight. As for the favorite in this fight, there ought to be none, but only because Adamek's HW potential is still unknown.

 

Arreola has real power. I think Adamek is gonna get KO'd around the 5th.

 

Arreola is much bigger then Adamek sorry. Adamek's "frame" isnt as big it just might look nicer. There strenght is not on par or at least has not been shown. Adamek might look good and Arreola might be a mess but his workrate is better then Adamek's. Arreola's weight has not been a problem with his stamina.

Adamek's "GREAT" pressure and power are not at heavyweight. Like I said Golota was a shell. He has not shown power to hurt top level heavys esp guys with good chins that Arreola has clearly shown. And if Adamek pressures Arreola he loses.

No, Adamek isn't big, strong, or powerful enough to keep Arreola off of him. And he's not that good defensively, which means Chris is gonna hit him and with more power than he's ever felt.

I wasn't impressed with Adamek's performance against Estrada... so if he walks out of the ring with the win, I'll consider it a very big one.

 

don't forget Arreola was an amateur light heavy.. Power is power, while he does have it, he has grown to rely too much on it. He can't hurt everyone and I don't think Adamek is the one.

arreola is a bad match up...prob the worst match up as far as punchers go...ademek gets my props for going after him...but hes gonna get smashed

NOT TO MENTION this is the first good fighter that Adamek has fought that is goin pressure him and throw alot of hard punches at him since Paul Briggs. Adamek had his hands full in both fights and that was at 175. I also think P4P Arreola is better then Briggs.

Minus the flab, Arreola is really a CW. He does not have devestating one punch KO power and all the overwhelming he has shown, was against lesser tier competition. People still don't understand that Adamek and Arreola stand nose to nose. If Arreola comes at Adamek like a crazy gargoyole with those lunging shots, you might as well say goodbye Cristobal, cause Adamek has a deadly counter punch.
