Do you agree Adamek should be the favourite against Arreola?

That's not what I'm saying. What I am saying is that there's no proof Arreola is decisively the more powerful puncher here, despite people's perceptions to the contrary. Those perceptions have a lot to do with the fact that Adamek fought so long at light heavyweight looking like a stick.

Why is that? Estrada is very hard to hit, is very fast( especially for a heavyweight) and is defensively on another level than Arreola who will square directly up in front of him. I think boxers give Adamek the most problems. Also, Dawson and Cunningham were the only fighters that i seen stun Adamek and that was due to their speed. He seems to take punches that he sees a lot better.

Arreola is an exciting fighter and I look forward anytime he fights. Any way you slice it he is a small heavy THESE days and so is Adamek. At this point Adamek is better around the boards, and if Arreola thinks he can bulldoze it won't end pretty.

I was impressed with Estrada's ability to roll punches on his face, which neutralizes so much of the impact. I don't know of any other heavyweight who can do it as well as he does it. So far, I would agree that the more skilled fighters have given Adamek trouble. All the heavy hitters and pressure fighters (Briggs, Bell, Banks) have been handled nicely.

Adamek has 2 fights at Heavyweight. And has 1 KO over a shell in Golota who's been stopped how many times???

Arreola has 29 fight and 25 KO's. Stopped Damien Wills, Witherspoon, McCline and Minto. He's proven his power at Heavyweight WAY ****in more then Adamek has. The fact that you dont even want to consider that Adamek might not be proven at heavyweight shows your bias and your opinion can not be taken seriously.

Bell and Banks are not pressure fighters. And he didnt handle Briggs nicely. He went to war and won 2 close fights. Again you prove your lack of knowledge.

I would not have Adamek as the favorite despite his accomplishments. Remember that this is not a CW fight. I do agree ,however, that everything will hinge on Arreola's conditioning...:think

I agree with JR. If Arreola comes in looking good at around 235, he should win by TKO in the latter rounds. If Arreola comes in his usual fat ass self, Tomasz will give him a boxing lesson.

Chris swears he'll be in good shape, but we've heard this song before. Listening to Arreola talk about his weight issues is a lot like listening to Jermain Taylor talk about stamina.

Arreola maybe the natural heavyweight but Adamek has proven much, much more in terms of the level he has fought and had success at. Adamek has proved he was a world class light heavyweight and cruiserweight.

Arreola has beaten nobody of note other than a badly faded Mcline and the son of Tim witherspoon. Arreola so far is a complete hype job based upon the fact he is a rarity in boxing at the moment, an american heavyweight that can punch. He was dominated against Vitali the one time he did step up and fight a genuine top heavyweight.

So I would favour Adamek over Arreola as nobody knows really how good or bad Arreola is.

Nice to see you are basing everything on thing Adamek did against guys 40 pounds lighter then the guy he is facing.

Arreola should be the favorite. He's bigger, and he's fighting a fellow brawler, albeit a brawler who can box beautifully when required, but still a brawler who will revert to brawling.
