Fury should throw it in the trash and just reign as WBO champ. As much as the WBC has disgraced the sport with the Arreola-Stiverne-Wilder bermuda triangle of fringe contenders sold as champions, and the IBF with its stripping Fury after six days, the WBA has surpassed them all claiming that it needs a tournament to decide who the real WBA champion is. THEY CREATED THIS SITUATION! Don't **** on my leg and tell me its raining. No one wanted a super chamion, a regular champion, and whatever it is that Ortiz is suppossed to be champion of (steroids champion?). It is bad enough that we have six belts already including the IBO and WBU, but we did NOT need the WBA recognizing three guys as champ. Now they want a stupid tournament to decide who is champ? This tournament will include a steroids abuser in Ortiz who should be banned from boxing, two guys who belong nowhere near a championship belt in Brown and Oquendo, and sick note Chagaev. Presumably, they will find a way to include Haye, who is now mysteriously ranked number 9, after Fury declared that he will not fight him under any circumstances since he almost ruined his Fury's family financially by pulling out of fights. Note the to the WBA: Fury is the true and only champ, and your organization is a disgrace to humanity.

all they have to do is make their regular champ a mandatory and then he fights the real champion then to show they're not completely morally void...then S**** the regular champion thing altogether and promise to not be as stupid/corrupt again in the future.
If true and the wba worded it like this I think fury should drop the title. This is the same wba who let ward go 7 years without a mandatory , fury beats a 10 year champ and atg and is rematching him and the wba don't see him as the clear champion? That's crazy
It was terrible they stole the IBF belt from him. Why would he dump the WBA now, just out of sheer anger? That's be weak. Fury should re-unify all the belts, that's what I hope he can do.
