Do you agree with MANNY or with ARIZA about Pac's fighting weight?

Not sure. If Manny is actually smaller then he was against Clottey, that could be a problem. Margo already has a huge size advantage. Pac will look tiny in there. He needs to at least be able to keep Margarito honest. If he doesn't have the power to event dent him, that could be an issue.

da only reason i can see margarito winning is because wen he baks up he still throws punches wit power but doesnt fight as good and we know margarito is goin to pressure nd havin him goin bakwards all fite long nd da size advantage will help

He's gonna be lightning fast in comparison to Margo either way so I kinda agree with Ariza, the extra poundage on him will help him absorb the shots. In the end, it may not matter at all.

If he was around 153 with Clottey he looked good at that weight. I'd go with that, but I agree he needs his speed against Margo and I'm not sure 6lbs will make much difference in his punching power against Margo.

Was also noted above me that the real thing is if it affects his stamina. That would be bad for him.

I dont think 4-5 lbs would make a difference on his speed, most of that could go on his lower body and torso, helping his punch resistance & ability to maintain balance/posture. Don't see how that would slow him down. He could then easily drop 3-4 lbs water for the weigh in

It's not even a catchweight fight. It's basically a welterweight fighting a junior middleweight for a jmw title. I seriously think they should come up with a catchweight title as opposed to awarding either guy with a conventional one. Pac might feel comfortable going in at 147 but that means he has less punch resistance than what he would have at 3-5 pounds heavier. I realize he has great footwork but it's a 12 rd fight and Margarito is guaranteed to land some clean body shots at some point. But whatever works I guess. My heart is with Marg but my money is on the small guy. I expect to make some nice cash this weekend.

pac smashes these big guys to pieces eats them for breakfast and nobody asks the questions which need to be asked (except the mayweathers)....

it doesn't matter if he doesn't put on any more weight or not and his punches will still hurt marg despite him being a former flyweight who shouldn't have anything near that much power!!
