Do you agree with Margo being as high as 5th or 6th on the P4P list?

Stevie Wonder could see that beating Taylor at MW, is far more impresive than beating Cotto at 147 simply because Taylor was the man, I also don't remember JT being being a shot away getting KTFO as many times as Cotto or having to go low to avoid being KO'd early by shop-worn Judah or needing the ref to interupt old shop- worn Mosley because he was hurt.

Beyond that Pavlik is unbeaten while Margo got a recent boxing lesson from Williams, ranking Margo higher is a joke.

Pavlik is just better period. If Margo is #5 or 6, then where does that leave Williams. IMO Margo is being overrated.

He won the IBF tittle from a fighter he had already beaten and Cintron had no business with a title. Cintron has yet to beat any fighter of note at 147. You move into the 5 or 6 spot after not being ranked at all prior to the Cotto fight. Margarito has had no succes out side of 147 number 5? Or 6? Way to high:lol:

    PERIOD? Good justification.

Where does that leaves Williams who lost to Quintana . . . before winning the belt again? :rofl

If Margarito doesn't have a place in the top 10 after winning 2 belts back to back including beating the #5 Cotto . . . then how come JMM is at #4 when he lost his belts and title in his last fight again Pacquaio?

    That's your case. :deal

Tito Trinidad is faster and more explosive than Margo and the same height. The difference here is Margo is so much slower and less explosive. look at the drubbing Tito took, Margo would get it even worse.

If you are talking about fighting styles, he's more similar to Librado Andrade a tough super middle than Pavlik although definitely more accomplished than Andrade. Humberto Soto would be the smaller and more technical version of Margo.

It's not a joke. You're deification of Taylor is a joke. He defended his title 4 times and was outboxed by a 5'8 former Welter. You're not a taylor fan. You're just in love with Pavlik so you have to exaggerate Taylor's accomplishments in a divison nowhere near as deep as welterweight. You can't possibly be objective about the subject. I'm actually a Taylor fan who was never a Cotto fan and it's obvious to me that Cotto was a far more impressive champion than Taylor. When miguel was hurt he came back to KO the other fighter. I am a big Mosley fan, but when Shane hurt him Cotto actually outboxed him when he knew he couldn't break his spirit. When Taylor was seriously hurt for the first time, he was koed. I think ONLY Steven Wonder could see that beating JT a year ago was bigger than beating Cotto last weekend.

Personally, I think it's a few spots high. I think maybe dropping him a few spots would be more accurate.

Yes, I think that's about right. He was borderline top ten before this, and he beat a guy in the top ten in a major fight.

I dont agree with him being #5 but definitely in the top ten. I'd say around #7or #8.
