I was totally undecided, thought if Usyk outboxed him he'd be jobbed on the cards, thought if Usyk went for the KO even he would end up walking into something. Turns out I was wrong, Usyk is just that brilliant at using his skill advantage.

Usually I think both Ring and TBRB overrate brits a bit but Joyce should be higher than at least Rivas. They share one big opponent in Jennings and maybe they've forgotten that Jennings was whooping Rivas until the 12th round stoppage. Joyce has 2 very good wins outside of that. Rivas doesn't.

Come to think of it, why is Rivas even on there?

Do you truly believe that Wilder will beat Fury in their 3rd fight, or are you just being a blind fanboy? A genuine question, no dig intended.

I believe he will win. He's knocked out every man he's ever faced before Fury ... and he had Fury down two times in their first meeting ...

And, honestly, another ref easily could've waived the fight off with Fury staring at the lights flat on his back and Wilder would already have a TKO over him.

(I'm glad the ref didn't, but we've seen stoppages that never came close to that.)

And, though people have dismissed it for a year and a half, Wilder DID have a torn bicep in his left arm (it was injured before the fight as confirmed by Junior Fa his sparring partner - and if it wasn't torn then it totally tore when he got knocked down), which rendered it useless. He needed surgery to repair it.

If Fury had no left, he'd have lost the rematch with Wilder, too.

You can laugh at Wilder and call him dumb, and make fun of his suit, but nobody is beating Tyson Fury with ONE arm and nobody is beating Wilder if they only have one arm (Tyson Fury included).

Wilder did beat Chris Arreola with a torn bicep AND a broken hand, which I also think people ridiculously overlook. Most fighters who suffer a torn bicep see the lump and just quit. But not Wilder. After the Fury rematch, Wilder fired the guy who threw in the towel. He wasn't going to quit. Even with one arm.

He refused to let Fury out of this third fight. He went to a judge to force Fury to fight him. He truly believes he can win.

With two good arms, Wilder floored Fury twice and nearly had him out.

I think, with two good arms this time, we're going to see a helluva fight. And I am confident Wilder wins.

If you bet against him for 12 years, you'd have lost for 12 years. For all the crap Wilder takes on this board, he's the most dangerous heavyweight on the planet with two working arms. With a torn bicep, he can still beat guys like Arreola. Just not Fury.

But Wilder is ready to fight. So it should be an amazing night of pure fighting.

    My list
    Champ: Fury
    1 Usyk (obvious reasons)
2 Joshua (subjective, could be switched with Wilder)
3 Wilder (no problem switching with Joshua)

    7 Parker
    8 Hunter
9 winner of Ajagba v Sanchez
10 winner of Kownacki v Helenius

Their rankings are close enough for me. I'd change a couple, maybe, but basically they're ok.

Not that I give much credence to The Ring...
BUT if you had read "Dougie's mailbag" in the aftermath of Wilder v Fury 1, they saw Wilder as the "loser" in the Draw with a below par Fury.

Kronk Fury then destroyed Wilder in the rematch.
And Wilder has been inactive for 18 months now.

So it is quite easy to see why they have him at #4 and Joshua at #3

But the rest of that ranking is pretty much dog turd. It looked even worse prior to the Usyk win. I don't know why you lot get so excited by them.

To be honest after the Del Boy fight I didnt think Usyk was physical enough to be a force at HW. Always enjoy it when i get reminded of how little i know!

I'm also having issues with rating Parker and Hunter. I think Parker has regressed (though he is pretty busy for a heavyweight during covid) and he looks ready for someone to beat him again. Hunter had the draw with Povetkin and has looked good recently, but doesn't have a good signature win at heavyweight.

Also....Ortiz, that win over Jennings was a loooong time ago. Yea he performed admirably in two losses to Wilder, but I feel like he's got a little bit of Razor Ruddock syndrome.

Absolutely not, it's a terrible list. Mine is far more like it.

    Lineal Champion: Tyson Fury
    1. Oleksandr Usyk
    2. Anthony Joshua
    3. Deontay Wilder
    4. Andy Ruiz Jr
    5. Dillian Whyte
    6. Michael Hunter
    7. Joe Joyce
    8. Joseph Parker
    9. Dereck Chisora
    10. Luis Ortiz

Why is Oscar Rivas even in the Top 10?

Where is Chisora? He needs to be #10. get rid of Hunter and Rivas, they don't belong there.
