No he's not because I've said many times I don't care what anyone says in reference to an upcoming match because its always biased, because they're the trainers and that's to be expected. I may have pointed out something someone said in the media that wasn't that important to the overall picture not some biased horse**** they spew constantly.

Also what bias does Abel have? and how do saying Stevens hits harder gain anything for him. If anything it gives GGG less credit for beating Lemieux. :deal

He annoys me... always has....I've said before Kovalev and I are very similar, certain people I get a feeling about, some miniscule part of their personality that I pick up on that others don't that bothers me about them and I hold it against them big time. I hold grudges against for years, he's always rubbed me the wrong way since the moment I laid eyes on him, there's a fakeness and quasi sinister quality I see in him that I don't like.:conf

He never admits to being injured or hurt. Has he even ever said an opponent has good power? They asked him about Curtis's power and shots he landed and GGG just said, "No, not serious (significant, I guess?)." Then he said Murray's punches felt like taps to him.

I think Lemieux has a really good chance at hurting Golovkin. I just rewatched the Curtis Stevens fight and Curtis landed some clean left hooks. That's Lemieux's best punch.

That's why I said David has a decent shot at dropping GGG. And at least David has the ability to jab his way in, rather than walk head first like Stevens did.

hate to admit it, but you do make a fair point, unless you're copying what other posters said.

It'd only take the perfect left hook for Golovkin to be sent on his butt. I can't imagine how this forum or the fans at MSG would react. There would be all out pandemonium. 😲

He has a good right hand too, he's not a one trick pony.

If GGG is caught with a punch though, it'd be the left hook. Lemieux's left hooks are scary.

No, GGG can be put down by a right hand too, it's not only the left hook that has a chance to knock him down, Lemieux has legitimate power in both hands, but the question is does he have the accuracy and timing to get someone like GGG who is far more technically sound than people give him credit for.
