I totally agree, but what SHOULD be and what IS are two different things sadly.

Boxing is a GLOBAL sport, fighters need to defend their WORLD titles anywhere.

Yes, but it only shows that the scoring method in boxing isn't fair in all cases. He won on my scorecard, but didn't deserve to win imo. You can say he pulled a Ruiz!

Exactly!! Dirrell bottled his big chance trying to fight as if he was still in the amateurs

So I suppose he was to give up his advantages in speed and precision and just stand and trade with the stronger fighter huh? Granted there was little more running than I like, but he landed nearly all the effective punches and consistantly made Froch miss. And I find it funny how people love to point out the running or "crying" but don't acknowledge the frequent and consistant punches behind the head or rough tactics Froch used. They were so blantant that the annoucers mentioned them on a number of occasions.

They'd rather see a backyard brawl den someone box is all. I think Dirrell was smart, its better den being like Taylor. Out box 'em and than get KTFO.

Dirrell won the fight easily. Frotch got countered all night. If it was Mayweather doing that running and countering he would have got a wide decision but because Dirrell was unproven and the fight was in England he got screwed.

If Floyd fought like Dirrell he had a lot less fans than he has right now. :patsch

I heard his comments "no wonder Roy Jones never came over"

I take it Dirrell forgot that none of the judges were British?!

Sounds simular to the things I say about the fight. You will not be quoted and challenged by the other side because the person challenging will just repeat the same ol BS. Stupid people who don't challenge points but just repeat because they feel they have the backing of the other idiots. I have never been challenged on the particulars of this fight and don't expect to. Ask anyone to break down thier reasons for froch winning through scoring criteria and it's impossible. They act like dirrell constantly ran. It would be different if Froch was hitting him while he was still and then he ran. Froch couldn't hit him nomatter what he was doing and ended up getting his head snapped back.

I can't believe anyone even discusses this fight any longer. There was no "whoopin" going on at anytime during this fight. Very boring and uneventful fight. Dirrell should be ashamed of himself crying about a robbery after his blatant display of cowardice.

Maybe it's just me, but i usually like a little "fight" in my fight.

Damn, why am I only hearing about this fight camp 360 now. Mick Hennesy has to be the worst promotor in boxing.

No I don't agree. Dirrell isn't good or exciting enough to decide where he gets to fight. He'll never be the draw, that'll always be the other guy. furthermore, he would have still lost that fight or came away with a draw at best no matter where he fought. He performed horribly, and the fact that he thinks he got robbed makes me wonder if he plans to change anything the next time. He needs to realize that Froch didn't beat him, Andre Dirrell did.
