Well the italian judge gave froch the last 2 rounds for the win. What fight was he watching? That's what gave froch the win. Just him giving froch the 11th round tells you what he's about.

Dirrell's ****foolery in that fight was hard to take, but Froch broke plenty of rules himself and was dirty as hell.

It was a rotten fight which dirrell would have won if he was the home fighter, it was a pretty close scrappy fight with dirrell looking the better boxer but not helping himself with his tactics, which were awful, all he needed to be was a bit more positive and he would have won imo

He's right but then it happens everywhere including the US, especially if. Home town bull****.

It's been a while since the fight but that **** still annoys the **** outta me. While "running" Dirrell landed more and landed more cleanly. The ref did a terrible job and Dirrell was ****ed over. Man, some of the fools who are saying Dirrell ran like a girl etc are probably the same fools praising David Hayes performance against Valuev saying it was a great gameplan etc. I believe both Dirrell and Haye boxed beautifully. The Haye fight wasn't even competetive, Valuev was just ****. The Dirrell fight was closer but still a comfortable win for Dirrell. Close is Barrera v Morales or Pac v Marquez, not this ****.

If you want the champs belt you go into his territory and take it from him.

Let's be honest here, if PBF-Hatton had been in the UK Dave Parris would have been the ref and PBF would have been DQ'd.

If Hatton-Tszyu had been in the US Hatton would have been DQ'd.

It's not where the fighters fight, it's the scoring system/refereeing that's wrong.
How can a sport so large have only 3 people making major decisions is beyond me, throw in some refs who are aweful and it becomes a joke.

Have 7 judges, 9, 11, I don't care, 3 leaves too much room for argument.
As for refereeing a fight, **** knows, maybe penalise refs who have bad fights and move them down a table? More **** ups less title fights etc:think

Good points about the judging. More would be better.

What did PBF do in that fight that would've warranted a DQ?

err because he was the wbc champ, because he beat lhw belt holder pascal in a great fight, becuase he ko'd taylor. he's got more reason to be there than most.

Just as Cortez was a disgrace, Parris is the British equivilent.

It is a pretty good piece of propaganda. But Rick's one and only tactic in that fight, as in most others, was to punch, rush, hold, wrestle, repeat. Unfortunately, what happened during that fight is what comes with the territory. He got beat at his own game. But I won't fault the ref. If roughing guys up is his thing, how can anyone complain when it goes both ways. He may have gotten the warning, but that was probably on account of his reputation.

its a shame he ran cause the few times he did exchange with froch he would get the better half.

The way he says it, it sounds like bitterness. It's okay, it's only one fight. Besides, I don't care where you are, if you get a knockout, the judges, ref, promoter can't do a damn thing about it.

I agree. I didn't before but however if you're a boxer, you should already know how corrupt boxing is.

    You're missing my point.

I don't care about the propaganda aspect, it's irrelivent.

My point being in the UK Dave Parris would have given Mayweather warnings and would have DQ'd him by the 8th.

And please don't defend Cortez, the man is one of the worst refs boxing has ever seen, come back Lane and Steele!!
