    Have to agree here. There's nothing in Wlad's physique to suggest steroid use. Years of hard training will produce a look like Wlad has, no doubt about it.

    Putting Wlad to one side, I don't understand why you seem to think Olympia style drug testing really means anything? It's been proven to be easy to pass if you get the right substances.

    It's incredibly naive to believe that some passing osdt really means all that much.

    Tsk. If is there anyone clean, this is wladimir; he is the hardest worker out there, he practice all of the exercises possible, he uses some weird machines i've never seen before, he practices swimming, kitesurfing, golfing, and whatsoever;
    But still, i think that, from 1950 or so, EVERY boxer juices.... damn, just look at Tyson, Evan Field (lol!!!!), or Lennox Lewis, the juicemaster....

    Stupid ***** u answered your own question without knowing :))) Boxing is a cardio sport, otherwise for a boxer would be impossible to box 12 rounds without colapsing! Naturally is impossible to gain that muscle based on their specific training. In short running races or gymnastics preparetion don t involves so much cardio. A sprinter at 100m could not keep up with the rythem of a boxer more than 3-4 rounds, neather a gymnast. *****!

    It just prooves the point that even if we had Olympic style testing in professional boxing then Wlad's physique would still totally within the 'ordinary' physiques of other world-class athletes.

    Yes, Olympic style testing doesn't guarantee anything, I conceded that point above. There's never any guarantee that an athlete is clean. I just don't like the notion that when certain people see a ripped athlete they take that as proof that the athlete must be taking PEDs. Ironically, some boxers in less than ripped shape (Botha and Toney come to mind) have been found to be using PEDs.

    Clueless again.

    Boxing is considered to be an explosive, anaerobic sport. The exact opposite of long distance running, soccer or even tennis.

    You even know how sprinters train? A typical morning training session for a 100m sprinter would 10 x 30m with 20 second rests and then 10 x 100m with 1 minute rests between. Very similar to the conditioning boxers go through. Spriting like boxing is a typical anaerobic sport.

    Wlad is probably around 8-10% bodyfat, so yes that's widely considered "ripped".

    Most would consider 12-14% "toned", 8-10% ripped and anything below 6% is considered "shredded", i.e. competition-level bodybuilding.
