    Yeah.

That's why boxers should never, ever use crystal meth before a fight.

    A side, B side, whatever.

He was caught using meth after the viloria fight, don't know if they verify if its the A-side variety.

Mayol has the reputation of being a dirty, cheapshotting scumbag, now.

When the guy's one of the most "olimpio" Filipino boxers of the past 10 years.

    But Mayol's a stand-up boxer no doubt.

The 3 controversial head-butts in a row have nothing to do with him, it's the other guys fault for sure!

Like one of the earlier guys said, those headbutts occured when Mayol was either leading a bit, or on equal footing on the scorecards (depends on who's scoring) and headbutting an opponent at that time would be counter productive for him.

The guy has a clean, outside game, and I always liked his smooth and snappy Oscar-like 45's (half hook-uppercut) and a boxer-puncher style.

Refreshing to see, because the majority of the local boys are brawlers at heart.

Counter productive or not those were flagrant headbuts, I hope you're not trying to dispute that:blood

    Who's to say for certain?

All I know is that he's fought all over Asia, and for a time was based exclusively in Japan, with a Japanese manager and fighting there for years, and he never had a reputation of fighting dirty and being a headbutt master.

So, with that as his background, I still give him the benefit of the doubt.

I do have to say, he does tuck his chin pretty low when he fights. Maybe that's what makes him more prone to headclashes when both he and his opponent come forward and jump into each other's territory.
