He admitted it. There is absolutely no disputing it because it happened. He took an IV before the fight and the USADA is not authorized to give one. So now the question is do you believe this guy took IV saline drips because of dehydration. I mean, He did lose a ton of weight before the fight...like a massive 3-5 lbs in total.
Yes it was saline I believe it was 500 ml of slain and 200 of viatamin c This is common when trying to mask something as the reports I read ..And I don't believe for a second it was for rehydration if it were that simple he would have done it at a medical facility and not at his house ..
It's not the saline that is the issue, it's the amount and timing of it, the decption etc. The timing before a test is really the crux of the PEDs question.
Poll options are not contradictory. It can be saline and he can still be on the juice, which he probably was. But that's not certain at the moment. What's certain is that he violated the WADA anti-doping code and he should be punished accordingly, first step being not being allowed to fight on Nevada soil pending investigation and the result of the May 2 fight changed to NC.
as an objective Floyd fan, saline is also many times is used as a flush. I think the jury is still out on this one. I'm not certain anything nefarious went on, but no one has all the answers yet, not either side no matter how vigorously they voice their opinions.
You guys are right, it is contradictory. I don't know how to change polls and it could be too late. The first should have been something like "Did he use it to treat dehydration".
Yea, then I could see the need for something like a 750ml IV drip cuz like he needs to add 16% of his fluids back for that. He could die from that level of dehydration for godsake man!
