Do you believe Pacquiao is a drug cheat?

Simple question, in the light of Manny refusing to take a drug test the day before the fight, do you believe that he is genuinely refusing the test because it may weaken him, or is there something more sinister behind it?

Will also post this question on the General, the contrasting levels of intelligent debate should be interesting to see. :yep

i'm a Manny fan (not a big one but i would still support him for the Floyd fight) but i have to admit that this doesn't look very good, it shouldn't be a big deal for anyone who has nothing to hide

I feel very weak after giving blood. That said i'm sure £25m could make me give drink a little more redbull.

No, I can understand their reluctance to take a test which COULD be very close to the fight.

Aside from that, innocent until proven guilty. People that claim this are disgracing the sport.

I think most of the elite boxers are drug cheats. And I think they always have been.

We can't just summise that Pac is a cheat for refusing to take a test. 'Innocent until proven guilty' is the order of the day here, IMHO. I don't believe the guy is on roids as he doesn't have any visible signs on his body that he is juicing. I think we should appreciate achievements for what they are rather than continually look for reasons to write them off outright; should we now claim that Duran, Leonard, Hearns, Whittaker et al were juicing simply because they moved through the weights with relative ease?

Yeah I agree, I mean last time me and Losfer checked we didn't notice those needle marks on his arms and his testicles seem normal sized. What else was it that we didn't notice now :think

Did Duran, Whitaker, Hearns or Leonard move up those weights with relative ease in such a short space of time and with such destruction ?????????????????????

No, and there's nothing to suggest he is one.

Yeah but look at the actual fighters he fought. David Diaz is severly limited, Pac was supposed to win easily. Ricky Hatton has no defence to any punches. Oscar was an old fighter and hadn't made that weight for ages. Cotto was the only one that should have been a shock to people. It's not like he's moved up and decimated a prime Aaron Pryor at 140 and then Ray Leonard at 147.

Those are not the only visible symptoms.

There is much more to it than you think:

    http://www.steroidabuse.com/how-to-spot-a-steroid-user.html

At the gym I used to go to there were plenty of guys with signs like rashes of spots, pronounced veins etc. If you are going to debate something, then at least do it rationally, Dan:good.

Also, to all these overnight blood experts: having blood taken doesn't weaken you one iota. I have blood taken all the time and it doesn't effect me at all. My body replaces it within one hour of it being drawn and there are no ill-effects of losing portions less then 1 pint at a time.

This is exactly what Floyd wants...these ******ed threads questioning Pacs status as the best boxer on the planet.
