Wiithout any evidence I think it is only fair to say no.

Still, personally I think a large number of boxers are probably up to something or other, it only stands to reason.

Sadly in sports where they really clamp down on such things, those sports get viewed as the only ones riddled with drugs ie athletics. Tennis clearly has it's problems, but they let people get away with excuses like they kissed someone and therefore tested positive (fact).

A real drugs clampdown in boxing could possibly kill it, there's too much money involved, so it will never happen.

I don't think that he is a cheat. However, I have ticked yes just because of the way his camp have reacted, its totally ott. Either way, its at times like these boxing makes me despair, why isn't proper drug testing a standard procedure? Boxing really needs to form a central body, with one set of rules/champions etc, fast.

This is biggest fight ever. There is so so much at stake I dont blame Mayweather for requested Pac to take this test. If Mayweather is willing to take the test also whats the problem. I dont trust Roach or any of Pacs team.

I hate the General Forum, which is a shame as there are some bloody good posters in there. The Brit Forum is the place to discuss boxing and have intelligent debates. :deal

Oh and Merry Christmas everyone. :smooch

Me neither - the more this story goes on, the more suspicious I feel of Pac and his reluctance to give blood.

Freddie Roach gave an interview on 23 Dec saying that Pac is only prepared to do a blood test 7 days before fight night and then immediatey after the fight too.

^ He claims Manny feels weak for about 3 days after giving blood. This is BS, IMO.

One interesting thing that roach said is that urine and saliva samples will cover all the same things that blood tests do. Does anyone know if this is true?

Personally, I reckon Olympic style drug tests should be mandatory for any World Title fight in boxing. Professionals at the highest level of their game should be subjected to the most rigourous standards.

merry xmas ESB posters and lurkers.

Dont think Pac is a drug cheat, but i voted Yes.

When it comes to drug testing, not taking part/missing tests raises suspicion. if mayweather was happy to take a test between the forth and fifth rounds, then i would expect Pac to do so also.

Also surely it is just a syringe full of blood being taken for analysis, not pints, so how does this feeling weak stuff come into it?

This was a great chance for boxing as a whole to show the world its still a sport which can entertain millions of people around the world and make new fans of the sport. I also feel let down by Floyd with his over the top demands as i find them selfish and disrespecting of a fellow boxing megastar like Manny.

Floyd has also questioned the whole sport of boxing and the way it conducts its drug tests.

Its a real sad time for boxing as this could of been such a great fight between two of the best fighters of our era.
