I always thought march was to early so im hoping this is just a big story for more publicity, bad blood etc etc.

If this doesnt happen this year though it's a massive stain on the sport.

this was the event to captivate the whole world BUT instead of showing that in boxing big fights get done, it showed all that is wrong with boxing - money, egos, foul play etc

is it early? if there wasn't so much negotiations the fight could've been finalised in november. pac fought over a month ago.

these guys take forever to negotiate. arum, schafer, pac, floyd, ellerbe and roach should all meet up in a room and not leave until it's finalised. instead they act like spoilt kids bitching back and forth. in the beginning it's interesting and creates hype, then it just gets pathetic.

I thought it was a bit yeah given how long these negotations can drag on for I always thought march was massively optimistic.

Time ended up so cramped they were only going to have 1 press conference when a world tour would be more apt for this.

The trouble is now someone is going to have to lose face if this is to happen, Pac to accept the tests or Floyd to say fine we'll go without it, and given the ego's involved it's a bit of a worry.

I think most of the elite sportsmen are drug cheats.

Darni, it isn't Floyd you should feel ashamed about but rather Manny. He says he doesn't take drugs and is willing to do any tests, but then when it comes down to it refuses to submit to olympic style testing.

Floyd hasn't suggested anything that any other world class athlete in the olympics doesn't go through AND he's is prepared to go through the same testing too.

He just wants fair game, Manny's refusal just annoys me. The excuses Roach is coming out with is BS.

Let's not act like Floyd is fighting some noble and just cause. He's pushing his own agenda. Have we seen him arguing for olympic style drug testing in the past to improve the sports credibility? How about against Marquez? Hang on, no need in that fight...

All Mayweather is doing is trying to drag Pacquiao's name through the gutter just because his crackhead family have suspicions that somebody COULD be as good if not better than their own.

Why should Manny take extra drug tests for the Floyd fight?

Does this mean every fighter has to take these extra drug tests from now on?

Does this mean Floyd has no faith in boxing states (U.S) drug testing?

Floyd said it would be a easy fight for him, so why is he now demanding extra tests from the smaller guy?

What a ****** Pacquaio or cheat Pacquiao is, one or the other.

If i was somehow at the very top level of a sport, destroying people put infront of me i would not be naive enough to think i shouldnt be tested. Mayweather has no issue with been tested, every ****in top sportsperson has to get tested for banned substances.

Id be fairly sure that Mayweather/Golden boy just looked for a routine blood test done by an independant group and get the all clear before fighting.

Is Roach that ****in naive? Is Pacquaio that naive?
To think that you can sale through a career in such a sport and not get tested for drugs is ridiculas.

Nobody even sugested he was cheating, this is normal at top level of any sport, bat sometimes boxing. Had he just taken the text it wouldnt have been an issue

This is typical bull****, Roach knows Pacman will need alot of fine tuning for the fight and will in all seriousness more than likely get beat by a jab alone all night. If they were serious about this fight (the biggest one in decades) they would expect and understand that it would be p[ar for the course to undergo all tests

I say **** off Pac, you got the gloves, the date (so you could do your politics), the weight, the big money etc...

Its a terrible reflection on any top sportsperson to refuse a drugs test, jesus, look what happened Rio Ferdinand for merely missing one. It is as trival a reason to not have a fight i have ever heard, its complete bull****.

Roach has turned into one awful sour **** lately also, saying it was mind games by Floyd? I doubt Floyd even asked for this request, it was probably his team behind him.
Even if he did ask for it, big deal?

Id love Mayweather to have Pacquiao NOT take the test and then fight anyway, beat him for 12 rounds stupid and let him take whatever test of political road he wanted to then.

    A ****ing joke.
