The result might be the same as Lousito Lopez, a 140 pounder, who moved up in weight to fight Canelo at 154 and got KO'd easily. Khan may have to realize this and change his mind finally.
They are out of options. They need each other. The fight will definitely happen barring anything truly extraordinary.
Yes, only because Khan is underestimated and seen as a cherry pick with a name for Alvarez. Alvarez should drop the belt or be stripped, but he won't, and don't feel like being slaughtered by 3g, but neither to fight some dangerous real middleweight, but he needs a decent name. Khan seems perfect. I mean, glass chin and all, no? Alvarez a titanic puncher, and bull****s like those. Watch Alvarez-Khan ending up another chapter of "cherrypicking gone wrong"
Khan has more chance of beating Canelo than he did of beating The Special One. Matthew Hatton and Lovemore N'dou both said Brook hits harder at Welter than Canelo does at Jr Middle. So if this is a mismatch than so was Khan v Brook.
yes I think it was a well thought out business decision by golden boy, low risk high reward. I think it was a little bit of a cherry pick on canelos part but also the biggest possible money fight options for both fighters.
Yes. Khan probably bought a beer and didn't get ID'd for the first time. Hit him like a boulder that he wasn't getting any younger.
Khan does deserve credit for taking this but I am a bit surprised that Canelo isn't taking any heat for this fight. He is the 160lb champ fighting a welterweight at a catchweight of 155 for the middleweight title. Is this odd to anyone else but me?
he's taking major heat from hardcore fans but to casuals this seems like a great fight, 2 big names in their primes.
