Wach the Marquez and Mosley fights, he fights stationary, but when he needs to retreat or back pedal, than he's very quick and efficient

Nothing wrong with Floyd physically. He's been boxing since he was a kid but hasn't taken any significant punishment. He knows how to take care of himself. Look at him , he's a specimen, hard as nails.
Floyd's legs are fine. Lately, he hasn't needed them. Why waste more energy on Mosely and Marquez than you have to?

I think he got hit a lot more against Marquez than he usually does..... but Marquez is easily the most intelligent fighter he's ever faced.

Usually it's Floyd making adjustments to take things away from the opponent, in this fight it was a one-sided chess match, but one in which Mayweather was often reminded not to take the ****.

If it doesn't bring you directly to it, then skip to 18:06

Here's a video explaing's Charley Burley's footwork and you can apply it to Floyd's now

He doesn't move like he did 5 years ago but his legs are not gone. He has the skills and knowledge to fight into his 40's like Hopkins. He does have the best foot work in boxing to go with his reflexes.

Shane Mosley was sitting on the edge of the ring at Fortune Gym in Hollywood recently, a few minutes before a media workout to promote his fight against Sergio Mora on Saturday, when he was asked by RingTV.com to reveal the best he’s faced in 10 important boxing categories.

The assumption was that Floyd Mayweather Jr. – who easily outpointed him in May -- would be his response in most of the categories even though the future Hall of Famer has faced many elite opponents over his 17-year career.

Among those he has fought are possible Hall of Famers Oscar De La Hoya (twice), Vernon Forrest (twice), Winky Wright (twice), Fernando Vargas (twice), Miguel Cotto, Antonio Margarito and Mayweather, against whom he was a collective 5-6.

Mayweather made the list of the best Mosley has faced – how couldn’t he? – but we were surprised by some of Mosley’s answers.

Best boxer: Mayweather -- No hesitation here. Mosley was unable to cope with Mayweather’s skills for almost the entire 12 rounds. “His technique, his movement. He was just a very good boxer.”

Quickest feet: Mayweather -- Again, no hesitation. “Mayweather. Very fast.”

Shane Mosley, who has a very good resume, thought a 33 year old Mayweather has the quickest feet out of anyone he's fought. This would mean Floyd's feet are faster than all of the elite prime and younger guys that Mosley fought in his career.

his legs are ok in his last fight against mosley. he looked fast in that fight that made pac said that he need more speed to beat floyd. what more of a problem for floyd right now is he might have lost his urge more than anything physical.

You have to think that some of that comes down to Mosley's reflexes though.

Cotto was hitting Mosley with clean punches in 07 and sliding underneath him out of danger before he could react to the punches, and even though I dont think Cotto is slow, of foot maybe, but not so much hand, not when he uses his speed, there are a lot of people who think he's slow, and Mosley that fought Mayweather, was 3 years older by then, that said, I cant disagree to be honest, but I think you can make that assumption without having seen that fight, simply cause Mosley, to the naked eye, has never fought an athlete with the skill, speed of Mayweather.

Wake up from your dream. Cotto would have never been able to hit Mayweather with anything clean.
