Also very telling is how fast the Nevada council announced that they would not investigate the decision. Let's see, 99% of the fans, including pro boxers, think the decision was BS, and the commission won't even go as far as to ask the judges to defend their scores, round-by-round?

Nope, no fix there! They clearly have nothing to hide . Nope .....

The gamblers that go to MAnny's fights spend huge amounts of money and the odds for the this fight against bradley were big. Some people somewhere made a lot of money outside the ring on Saturday night. Money talks - and has Pac's stock gone down? Ofcourse not.

Yes, thats a theory that every is going with. But i dont know if the result was predetermined with Backhanders.....

My other theory is that 2 of the judges were unhappy with how they felt Marquez was treated in his last fight, combined with the fact that they were not huge Pac Fans, or even Pac haters.

This could have meant that any close round (Yes i know they were easy to score) went to Bradley rather than Pac, and that they wanted revenge in judges form.

Judges are meant to be impartial, but come on, imagine judging a fight with a fighter you dont like. Who are you going to give the close rounds to?

No it wasn't predetermined. All the outrage about this close fight shows the ignorance of the average boxing fan and ignorance of the scoring system.

How could the fifth rd be even remotely close ? Bradley jabbed Pac's guard for the first half and then ran for his life the last half after being rocked by Pac.

2 judges gave the fifth rd to Bradley !

Hell yeah. However, it doesn't change that Pacquiao is off his prime.

The poll options are flawed. I voted for the second, but don't agree with either of the qualifying statements.

    I don't believe Bradley won. I had Pac 116-112.

However, I'm not willing to say it was **** judging. Duane Ford already explained his scoring. If you disagree (as I do), fine. It isn't like there was no basis or no foundation for him allocating points as he did on a RBR basis. You may feel that in his discretion he overemphasized certain aspects of what Bradley was doing and neglected some of what Pacquiao was doing, but to call it **** judging from someone held in highest esteem by his peers seems like a bit of armchair quarterbacking to me. Let's see anyone on this forum sit ringside for hundreds of championship bouts and not inevitably have a couple of high-profile verdicts be questioned or dragged through the mud. It's the law of averages. You can't please all the people all the time, and let's face it - most people are stupid ****s. ESB is a microcosm of that truism, with the added nuisance of a shitload of *******s.

    Bradley didn't deserve the win.

    It wasn't corruption or rigging.

It wasn't **** judging. It was a minority view of the fight (which some of us may feel was misguided...but it isn't like Ford or Ross had Bradley pitching a shutout...they were realistically close cards and if you flip a couple of rounds to have them match Roth's they are hard for anyone but an extreme Pac zealot to argue with) that happened to be represented by a majority of the official judges.

You kind of just proved my point. Hatred and dislike for somone will bias your decision.

I agree it was easy to score because i am impartial. But to a biased Fan (judges are Fans too) its too easy to see things in a different light to whats actually going on.

Who knows what really went on. All i know is its wrong.
