After watching both fights I have to say no. I truly think that was the Holyfield camp's strategy. Did you see the size of this guys melon? I watched the many instances where Evander led with his head like he was trying to run Tyson over as if he was trying to score a touchdown. The first fight Tyson held his cool and the ref stopped the fight , the second one he had had enough and retaliated. Whether it was the right thing to do is debatable. He could have just as easily punched him directly in the nuts or maybe even pulled out a light saber but he chose to bite the ear. I used to think highly of Holyfield but my opinion of him is forever changed due to his bull**** lead with his head tactics. This tells me only one thing and that is that Evander could not have fought Tyson any other way than the way he did.

LOL, we all know it was Cus D'Amato's, Don King's and My Auntie's friend's transvestite cousin's pal's dead Dog faults.

I mean heaven forbid Tyson ever takes responsibilities for his actions!

I don't blame him in the sense that I know he's about as stable as your average rabid dog and he didn't know what else to do. I blame in the sense that thin air didn't bite Evander's ear off. He's guilty, I just don't think he was capable of not doing it or something like it.

Even with the gloves on, it would not have surprised me if he managed that. :D

    I do blame him.
Why couldn't he use his elbows against Holyfield's head like he did against everyone else ?

All kidding aside , I mean if yall were in his shoes and somebody was fighting dirty and winning as well , what would you have done?He did it because he was pissed off from his knees getting buckled from something other than a punch.**** somebody should have told Mike prior to the fight that secondary weapons were aloud.Since nobody told him , he invented one.

Yes; i think the ref was hard on him to disqualify him. I mean if someone headbutts you, you bit them, in a streetfight. That would be a totally normal thing to do in a steetfight, not cowradly at all. If you were in a fight and you got headbutted and you bit someone fighting like an animal on the street everyone would agree you did right and weren't strange. So in the ring it's totally different but so what?

I would've Golota'd Holyfield in the cup a few times at least. I don't think biting part of his ear off would have crossed my mind, not that I'm arguing with the creativity.

There's nothing like a good old bite to let out your anger. Hitting someone in the balls doesn't really cut it. Sinking your teeth into a bit of flesh always does the trick.
