Do you consider Canelo a boring or exciting fighter?

What in the hell did you really expect from a functioning alcoholic who was a part time boxer in Kov? I mean my god he had a war with Yarde who is extremely limited and a year earlier had been iced by
Eleider.
Kov was picked for one reason and one reason only.

 

He used to be better to watch, but now he knows the judges will favour him, he knows he can get away with doing a lot less, and also his opponents naturally have too much fear against him and end up getting back up and not doing enough.

 

In the last 5 or so years Canelo has only taken 1 50-50 fight - Bivol. Between that and the biased scorecards Canelo's fights don't have the sense of jeopardy needed to make them exciting.

 

I consider Canelo a businessman

 

For the most part, I like his style. But he's awful at chasing down runners and finishing them. Granted most fighters aren't good at it if they don't have enormous power.

The '50-50 fight' where Bivol was a 4-1 underdog and barely anyone picked him to beat Canelo..

 

Barely any casuals maybe, most astute folks on here that had championed Bivol for a long time were picking him to win and knew it was a bad move by Canelo.

 

He's an idiot, and a foul-mouthed jackass. Name one Mexican legend of the past 30 years who has acted like this jackass. He's an embarrassment to all of the Mexican legends who came before him.
