Don't get me wrong, WK didn't do much either. Was WK's low output due to what Fury was doing? Fury fans will say yes. Perhaps they are right. Was it a big win for Fury, yes, career defining. Was it on the level of Ali/Liston 1, I say no. I say the AJ fight will be on the same scale of Ali/Liston because it will set Fury apart from the rest of the bunch, because he'll be the true champ, same as Ali when he won.

Yeah but at the time beating Wlad made him clear number one with Wlad number two. No one was considered to be able to beat Wlad

Floyd jib jab clinches his way to a 12UD - "MASTERVCLASS GOAT BEST DEFENSIVE FIGFJHTERE EVAR"

Fury jib jab (engages Wlad's clinch) to a 12UD - Boring fight, Wlad was old, Wlad had an off night, Fury didn't do anything, Fury is a drug cheat

Floyd wasn't doing it to men who were held in as high regard as Wlad was.

Nobody gets in that ring with Wlad and does to him what Fury did. End of. Period. Bow down.

Not really. There was AJ and Wilder. Then of course the 3 year lay off hurts his position at the time.

This. It was an awful fight. Very hard to score because so few punches were thrown and landed by both fighters.

It wasnt hard to score thought. Everyone even Klitchko fans were seeing that fury was winning. Few of them in my home hoped there will be robery and were laughing posibility of it but all of them knew Wladimir didnt win

Fury outlanded 86 vs 52 punches, he outlanded him in every round. Klitschko was too scared to throw a right hand. Go watch the Rbr here, every decent judge had Fury winning 10 or 11 rounds. Fury walked away in Wlads backyard with a UD, the judges scored it even closer than it was. Absolute schooling by Tyson

And even for Fury, I think taking on Wilder after 2 tune up fights and coming back from the messed up state he was in a couple months prior is a greater achievement
Demolishing Wilder in the second bout might also be
Sure, Wlad is light years ahead of Wilder in terms of skills and as a boxer overall. But him being defeated that night, while a great feat, did not look more impressive than what Fury did to Wilder later on. Just how I see it though
