No he did what Manny did v Floyd and what Duran did his third fight v Ray, they wouldn`t attack that much because they knew they would get stopped or hit too much, Garcia was in survival mode.

No! Manny will rate very highly in a P4P sense when he retires perhaps even top 25 or 20? But as a WW he does not have a large enough body of work to place in the top 20 of that division.

How do you attack someone who does this much running, illlegally bending below the waist and hugging?

He held less than Lewis did in the 1st round against Tyson and less than Ali did v Frazier in their first rematch, he also threw far more jabs than Manny did, why didn`t Manny try to counter the jab, he had no answer to that punch and it was partly because of the reach difference, it was a bit like Garcia v Spence in that regard.

He had answers, he hurt Floyd twice, Floyd didn't hurt him once. Pac needed to get inside because he is the shorter smaller fighter, everytime he got inside, Floyd bent below the belt and hugged his way, so they're separated again. So he used an illegal move which the ref turned a blind eye to have an advantage over an already smaller man.

Pac pressed, Floyd ran. Spence didn't run for ****, he beat the crap out of Garcia. Spence hurt Garcia, Pac hurt Floyd. 2 completely different scenarios.

Not a historical great of the division. His accomplishments there lack, even if at the time his ranking was kept afloat from a legendary P4P run before that. His legacy at welterweight goes as far as Cotto and the Bradley trilogy can take him. He jumped weight classes like the wind. Likely largely because of so, he is not among the best of any single division (130 is the only one where his name can get mentioned at all).
