Popkins link obviously didn't work, but this one did and I dread to think what the content of this site is.

The fight was Raheem was at 135 vs 130 against Pac. He clearly came in unmotivated for Raheem and even great fighters have bad nights...it was obviously a bad night for Morales against an stylistic nightmare.

Anyone with eyes can see that a different Morales turned up for Pac-Morales 2 and Pac had to put on one of his very best performances to pull out the victory. A 5 years older, ring rusty, 10lbs fatter Morales arguably beat Maidana...

Very good win. Any victory over an opponent who has already beaten you is a good win. Morales still had fight in him, and still does now.

In that moment, it was a great win.

Now, comparing it to the other big wins, it loses a lot of its shine, seeing what other big fights he has won, but during that time when Manny avenged his defeat, it was madness.

That was the first time I watched a fight on PPV cinemas. One of the greatest boxing experiences I ever had.

The first time he almost knocked Erik down, early in the fight, everybody stood up from their seats and the whole place went nuts. I was like "OMG I think he's got a chance!"

His second win was good because its always good to beat the man who beat you. The last win was buns...and worth erasing from boxing history lmao. Morales looked like a skeleton that fight.

i agree...but lmfao about the gloves since morales had the same ones and look at pacquiao's face after compared to morales...gloves dont affect technical ability...and at people saying "manilla ice" made a difference i laugh even harder

The first victory was great. Avenged the only loss he would suffer that decade against a great fighter. Em had never been stopped and would go onto to fight big pressure fighters like diaz and maidana still keeping his chin intact and realistically taking them both to school.

Yeah either way it's sliced the first victory is great.

Using that logic then Mayweather's win over Corley is a great win because Corley gave Maidana trouble. :patsch

I cant in anyway consider it a "great" victory. Morales was weight drained and past his best. Coming off a loss no less.

He hasnt beaten anyone of note since. Yeah he gave Maidana and Diaz problems, but he wasnt drained, he fought Diaz at 135, and Maidana at 140.

I can consider it a good win. Because its the only time Morales has ever been stopped. I however consider it an OK win.
