I think hes even slicker now, but he was more offensive minded, stronger(pfp) and a harder puncher at JL.

and fighters like benny leonard, gans, armstrong, ike williams also will be ahead.

Floyd is however top 3 at 130, same way that you could consider Calzaghe top 3 at SMW, which does not speak much about Calzaghe but more on the quality and history of the division.

I agree that JL doesnt have the history as other divisions... But its still waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay better than SM. And older actually JL was around in the old timer days went away and came back..

Agreed. JWW is a better comparison, and you'd have guys like Tszyu in the running for top 3.

Jesus Chavez, Carlos Hernandez, Diego Corales, Emmanuel Augustus, Gregorio Vargas, Carlos Gerena, ****** Juuko, Carlos Ramon Rios, Angel Manfredy, Genaro Hernandez, Tony Pep, Gustavo Cuello, Miguel Melo and Sam Girard are the the fighters he beat at 130 . . . not to mention 13 other fighters who are all non threats.

Thus beating all these fighters make him an ATG?

Even at JW i think Chavez and Pryors resumes probably top Jones, toney Calzaghe at SUper middle... I think Cruiser is a better comparison to SM.

well you gotta remember that Floyd was not the famous "Money Mayweather"

He was "Pretty Boy Floyd" who was an extremely confident boxer puncher w/ a great defense, who was looked at as becoming the next Sugar Ray Leonard

he cleaned out the division bro'

who fought just about everybody who was anybody

You would have to consider him but not sure if he quite makes it. Ability yes - resume probably not.

Yeah that's fair, he's more cagey now. Has the years of experience to call on and has totally mastered his defensive skills, but he also takes less chances therefore is open for counters less than he was at 130.

At 130 he was everything you say he was, he was also faster p4p than he is now, both of hand and foot and his combination punching was much better.
