Absolutely.

Maybe not one for the purists as technique seemed to go out of the window early on but the entertainment value was off the charts.

The knockdowns, the thunderous punches, the swings in momentum - definitely qualifies as a classic for me.

 

I would call it a classic match, regardless of the weight class. One of my favourite fights.

 

I prefer his fight with Augie Sanchez, which was a genuine shootout between two guys who could bang, who had a questionable defense and ended with a pretty brutal knockout.

 

95% of the people who post here have never saw the fight. Because they started watching boxing in 2005.
