I enjoy watching Usyk for the same reason I always enjoyed watching Mayweather -- it's great seeing a master technician at his craft. And Usyk is pretty aggressive, ain't like he isn't.

I enjoy watching KO artists for different reasons, obvious more visceral ones, but they're just as fun to watch.

Sometimes you get a guy who can do both and they're about the most exciting to me. Bam Rodriguez has been absolute fire to watch in his last three -- to any of you who don't follow the little guys, give his last three a watch. Beautiful technical boxing, probably the best footwork in the sport, and a killer when he sees an opening.

This is kind of asking how someone can like bacon cheeseburgers as well as fine Italian food. The answer is because you can like different things and appreciate the different things for what they are.

Yes but the question here is not about liking the fighter or enjoying them. Its about whether you think the fighter is exciting. You enjoying watching Usyk fight is fine but would you classify him as exciting.

Watching a master boxer at work is always great.

Many said Floyd was boring but in every gym across the world there’s boxers trying to replicate his style.

The more educated the public becomes on the real intricacies of combat the more it’s appreciated.

go back to the early 20th century where almost everyone wrestled and boxed and it seems like the public had a greater appreciation of those respective sports.

Exciting. Especially now that he's moved up to HW. He can be taken out with one good shot, or hury badly, but cannot do the same.

There isn’t much clinching and too much clinching is what makes a fight boring, if it’s a boxing match, but it’s all clean work and skill, then that’s not boring IMO.
Also Usyk goes for the stoppage when he gets guys hurt or when he senses they’re tiring which makes him more exiting.

I like boxer/punchers, Usyk is a boxer puncher. I would never call a boxer/puncher boring.....................they are the sweet science. Those are the fights I'd rather watch.

He can box your ears of on the front or back foot or just walk you down and systematically beat you up and he throws a lot of punches regardless of the style he employs and he isn't grabbing ahold of you like an octopus everytime you manage to get in range.

He averages more punches per round at HW than Floyd did at WW despite the fact he's fighting giants who are not only way bigger. heavier, taller and more powerful than him but in Belly and AJ's case also have big/huge reach advantages over him which was rarely if ever the case with Floyd

    Floyd averaged 40 a round at 147 and 50 at 130

    Usyk at CW

He averaged 78 per round against Gassiev who was one of the sport's most devastating punchers, bare minimum top 5 P4P hardest punchers in the sport for sure

He threw 905 punches against Hunter

Averaged 78 a round against Huck in 10 rounds

    Threw 848 against Briedis

Even up at HW he threw 712 in the AJ rematch

I think its just boring and usyk is not very popular. Any hw fight of him was a relativly low pay and a weak undercard .

In the undisputed fights mostly fury was the seller

Usyk is one of those guys that even if he fights defence first on the back foot which may lead to a boring fight, the skill level he brings the ring is just phenomenal and we don't get to see an ATG fight too often these days. So, we have to appreciate it whenever Uysk fights as he is just so bloody skilled.

When you fight as many savage punchers and legit bangers as Usyk has you generally have additional exciting moments to any excitement that takes place because no matter how great you are you invariably end up getting KTFO a few times or at least once or you end up taking multiple trips to the canvas. Even more so when you throw as many shots as he does and don't hold or run or use various other illegal tactics to limit the amount of clean shots your opponent can hit you with

I really like Usyk as a guy and find him entertaining but idk, something about his style just doesn't have me obsessed in the same way a lot of other fighters do. I never crave to watch Usyk fights in the same way I crave Inoue, Beterbiev, or Chocolatito for example. He's a wonderful technician, he's fleet-footed, he's high-volume, he really is a superb talent but something about his style just doesn't intoxicate me in the way I want him to.
