For somebody that has 24 fights, he surely has a very good resume, yet IMO he doesnt get the exposition that some other guys get but he is levels above them and IMO will be a champion for a long time. I believe he will beat Froch tonight by UD

I dont feel his resume is all that actually, his p4p ranking is overrated imo.
If he wins tonight he will be p4p ranked for me.

When your compare it to other fighters with about the same amount of fights it is pretty good. Just the fact that he made it to the finals undefeated and he started the tourney against the best at the weight class and with very limited experience has to count for something. His last 4 fights: Kessler, Green, Bika, Abraham...and he fights Froch tonight....I would say that is pretty damn good for somebody with 24 fights.

True. Rightly so. If you asked me a champ today still likely to be undefeated 5 years from now Ward is 1st on my list

I actually think hes a little over rated. Hes good, im strugling to convince myself hes the best at SM but it is beginning to look that way. But as im not impressed id have to say that this division has been ticking along at a bit of a higher level over the last 25 years than we are at the minute.

Ow definitely, ward wasnt supposed to win the tournament and now he is a big favourite, he has done very well and is an a hof boxer route, if he wins tonight it would be a very good step in the right direction.

definitely, just look at some of the responses in this thread. The fact a couple people in here think he's overrated tells you all you need to know. Then again some people will always claim a guy is overrated until he loses 10 years down the road after a HOF career and then say see I told you hahaha. He has absolutely dominated everyone put in front of him, people thought he'd have trouble with miranda not that long ago, and then he's strung together a great list of wins in the super 6.I'd say he's 2 wins away from being considered in the p4p #1 conversation, froch and bute.

Overrated. If he wins tonight Bute will beat him. His resume is also not p4p worthy.

No he is not underrated and he isnt overrated for me he is right were he should be, wery good fighter on his way up, if he beat Froch tonight he will and should become one of the biggest stars in boxing, and plus if he beats Bute, than no one should have anything bad to say about him, when it comes to boxing.

Ward gets plenty of respect. Some would say more than is justified.

I think Ward is an underrated fighter especially after winning Olympic gold people say Ward only has speed but he is very accurate.Credit for it be given to the Ward team to not over hype him also.

There will be very few people who underrate him if/when he wins tonight. He'll be on my p4p list with a win tonight. A bit premature but I can't wait to see this guy against Bute.
