No I shamelessly favour aggression even if it isn't effective.

IB, he's the best scorer on this site. By some distance. Like a scoring robot, no emotion, no bias, no influence, just scoring perfection.

I think so in general but sometimes its difficult.
Especially if a guy is on his bike landing only a few punches or tries to steal rounds with fluries at the end like srl vs leonard.

Or if a guy is getting beaten but lands one big punch. Does it eclipse the work done by the other guy?

In my heart I feel the guy leasing the fight should get the round if he is chasing the opponent and throwing a lot.
Yet the opponent avoids or blocks most, lands a 1/2 and its suddenly his round cause of being efficient?
I would get it if its clear but I notice people often doing it in close rounds as well.
Especially when it was Floyd. They always gave him every close round cause of this.

Same with ring generalship. So if a guy is great at being on his bike is it ring generalship cause he is dictating how the fight is fought and the opponent cant cut him off?
Therefore he should be more favoured to receive a round?
It goes against the spirit of the sport imo.

Thats why srl pisses me off in the Hagler fight. He is bssically running, trying to steal rounds while also playing the crowd and refs with his boasting and calling Hagler over like he's wanting to fight.
Really shrewd but also cowardly tactics. Thats why that fight is difficult to score (had it a draw last time)

If you get two guys avoiding to throw you get a **** figwhe like Fury vs Wlad.

On other hand I scored rumble in the jungle for Ali easily till the ko despite George being the agressor.. he was landing the cleaner punches.

Then you have fights like mab vs morales / pac vs jmm wars where yiu get different scorecards each time.

So, dont know for sure if im good at scoring fights. Still levels above most vegas judges though.

I think I have been getting better the more fights I have been scoring.

I'd probably be the worst judge ever as I kind of go with "which fighter would I rather be" at the end of a round.

I just watched Bivol-Canelo again and for the life of me, I can't figure out how three judges can unanimously score that bout 115-113 when it's completely obvious to me that at the end of at least 9 or 10 rounds I'd rather be Bivol going back to my stool feeling good about the way things are going.

This is why my "judging" sucks.

I always felt IB was biased towards technical fighters.

Try again. Hagler did win but not by 116 to 112. It was closer than that. Give SRL a little more credit.

I scored it 115-113 Leonard, but it could have gone either way.

The criteria I judge on may be different than other people as boxing is way too subjective but I judge based on that criteria consistently and objectively which makes me better than most people here who cater how they judge a fight based on who's fighting or what they expected each fighter to do beforehand.

I thought I was on a thread if you know how to judge a fight?
