Any offers on Tyson v Lewis between 87-89 or is that a given that Tyson eats him up like Pac Man...:yep

Yep...Lacy...JC schooled a banger to perfection who had smashed everyone who had gone before him and held a more than decent strap...:good

Jon, just who came before him ??
And yeah I think Tyson would have beaten Lewis but not as convincingly as people believe

Lewis would always have had too much for Tyson. He sparred with him before the Olympics when they were both kids. Lewis was Tyson's bogeyman.

Tyson had a lot of bogeymen. Generally guys that were both world class and not petrified.

    Namely Holyfield and Lewis.

Douglas was in meltdown after the death of his mother...... Mike would have needed a baseball bat to beat Holyfield and Lewis :deal

I know they had history... But 87-89 Tyson was a machine chopping everything in his path... Again, it is something that we will never know...:think

He was an amazing fighter but even in his prime could only sustain his explosive workrate for a short period of time. Lewis on form, would pick him off with the jab all night long.

    Let me help you

Thats hardly Shane Mosley and Roberto Duran in there is it? Respect where its due, and it is due but they are not particularly outstanding fighters. Poor use of the jab, messy infighting, tangled arms and feet.

Green is the greatest. He beat a legend to become a legend, whilst coquering australia and the world.
