    No.

When he says he is the greatest ever i find it rather delusional and funny.

Mayweather used to get on my nerves so bad that I would literally jump up & down rooting for his opponents but now Im convinced more than ever that he says these thing because he knows the badguy/******* image has got him where he is today, he knows that calling himself better than SRR or Ali will defo not go down well with 90% of fans.... I always admired his ability inside the ring while despising his idiotic behaviour outside the ring but now I just watch with amusement, I dont let it sway my judgement on him as a boxing talent.

Ps. a message for those that DO get annoyed by his comments.... dont let him do what he is trying to do.

    Nope.

He is so good, it is easy to see why he thinks he is the best.

Not saying that he is the best, just I can see why he thinks he is. Add his phenomenal skills to a subpar intelligence and unabated egotism. It's inevitable.

Love him or hate him he is rather amusing.

Like you i believe he does ham it up a bit in regards to playing the pantomine villain as it puts more money in his pocket. However i do believe that it does come naturally to him as he is a bit of a ***** anyway.

Rather than being a great actor i see Floyd more as a man who is quite arrogant, money obsessed and juvenile anyway, but he will exaggerate these qualities when the cameras are rolling to play up to this public image he now has.

No it's part of his shtick. The thing that has gotten me realy annoyed is listening to him say the same five things over and over again. It's like listening to George Bush.

No, it's called aim high, so if you fall short you're still far ahead.

to despise him simply for making these comments means you cannot see that its this kind of public persona that he's crafted that is as much a reason for him making a solid 8 figures per fight as anything else.
