Do you despise Mayweather for calling himself the greatest ever

No cause I know he will never be regarded as the best ever but I do know talent wise he has to be up there

 

No i dont care what he says,

as long as he continue to fight the best after Mosley and not have to be forced to fight the best

 

If he beats mosley on saturday and then beats pacquiao, then i would seriously consider rating him him near the top (possibly as the best). There may be another challenge for him by that point but I wouldn't put it past him succeeding.

Another question for you guys then... What would he have to do to be considered the best?

No, because he's not in a position of power here, no matter how many times he says it, it doesn't make it so(and I question whether he genuinely believes that). The fans, historians, etc. will decide if he's the greatest ever and anybody who's not a fanboy will likely say he's not. That's not a diss on Floyd, he's an amazing talent, but there have been a lot of amazing talents.

I think records are their to be broken, SRR was the greatest of all time, but that doesnt mean no one can suprass him, If Floyd carries on fighting and doesn't loose and beats guys like Shane Mosley, Manny Pacquiao, and other top fighters convincingly, I think he can make a claim to being the ATG fighter ever.

I rarely pay attention to the excrement spewed from his mouth.

I don't have any problem at all with a fighter thinking no one was ever better than him, but if you publicly claim it then you should fight often and against real good competition to back it up.

I don't despise him at all, but some of the things he says makes me cringe, especially at the beginning of the 2nd PBF-SSM 24/7 episode. He is just so hateful, and tries to hard to be the bad guy sometimes. Plus, 80% of what he says is pure bull****. He pats himself so hard on the back sometimes, you'd think he was chocking on his own dick. He is incredibly immature, which is saying something, considering he is 3 years older than me.

But other than that, he is okay with me...I have absolutely nothing bad to say about what he does in the ring.
