He's effective in what he does, but enjoy? I don't think I do. I find myself wishing he would be more fluid in his offense and quit being so careful, basically about how Steward feels a few rounds in, begging him to open up, throw more, knock the guy out, we don't need another bull**** decision, that kind of thing. But he wins, in boring fashion generally, I still will watch and respect him as a good fighter that knows how to win.
I am a fan of the sport, so yes I enjoy seeing Wlad box. Just like I enjoy seeing many other fighters box.
I enjoy seeing a boxer use whatever means necessary to win his fight. Whatever that may be. I don't necessarily want to see a boxer sacrifice his life, or long term health, if not required to.
Its a little hit and miss. I enjoy watching him when he lets his hands go and with his chin there is always the anticipation of either Wlad or his opponent getting stopped. I appreciate his skill and the way he dominates some decent heavyweights. But, his fights usually lack drama and he doesn't let his hands go enough. He is one of my favorite fighters but far form one of my favorites to watch.
Im a fan, i do admit he is not as fun to watch as he was 10 yrs ago but i think his opponents have a lot to do with it Wlad has improved as a boxer and his foes are good fighters but jsut cant compete with the hard hitting quick and skilled big man
I find it hard to watch him. To cautious and fearful about what's coming back. I think he is excellent at what he does now and his domination is not to be sniffed at, even if it is against mostly average opposition. Wlad is a very good HW but i won't be buying his career box set. I enjoy watching Vitali fight.
edge of your seat...:tired You stayed on the edge of you seat against Haye? Ibragimov? Chagaev? Edge of your seat my ass... (not disrespect on WLad who is a very skilled fighter. There is just no opposition to make it fun to watch)
Somewhat, but not like I used too back in the days when he was actually an aggressive offensive fighter. Still a fan, and glad he keeps winning, but his fights aren't nearly as entertaining for sure.
I give Wlad some credit for working towards a more watchable style. If you look at the last few fights (Chambers, Peter, Haye) you don't see Wlad holding very much. Lots of movement and lots of punches.
