Do you Euro's really think that Carl "Slobra" Froch has a chance against the S.O.G?

I said before the fight that Froch lacks discipline and that in the Kessler fight he was sucked into a brawl as to why he lost. Froch said as much after the Abraham fight and that it was something he worked on for the fight. He said no matter how much he wanted to get into a brawl he stayed disciplined. If he had fought Abraham how he fought earlier in his career there is no doubt he would have gotten spark.

But considering that I've been right about eveyrthing else in this tournament from the outset saying 2 American prospects would dominate the competition. Give me some space please.

Just once? Dont be a moron. Abraham landed flush on Dirrell multiple times and only KO'd him when he was defenseless.

    Please keeping hoping though.

I've never seen a fighter as underrated as Froch on ESB and I've been here for years. I remember in the build to the Abraham bout, how so many people were picking him to get destroyed and then after schooling his man, Froch still gets hated on. I really don't understand it. He's not slow, he's got power, he is unorthodox but skilled, he has good basics - He's a very impressive fighter, yet people talk about him, and have talked about him for years, like he's a hypejob ready to be beaten.

Froch has proved those people wrong over the years and I believe he will continue to do so. Sure, he may not be the best fighter you'll ever see but there aren't many fighters in boxing today who are as determined and tenacious as he is. In fights at the very top level, that's sometimes the deciding factor.

I thought Froch was gonna lose, and he thuroughly dominated Abraham, white-washed him COMPLETELY without any problems. I had to eat my crow, whereas someone like MichiganWarrior comes back with "I know I shouldn't have made a prediction in a fight between two EURO zombies".

Anything out of Europe is a zombie, I bet MichiganWarrior would rate Nino Benvenuti down there with the likes of, uhm.. Taurus Sykes?

He is slow. His footwork is slow. He handspeed is slow. He's unthordox and lanky. He's freakish physically, thats what saves him at the top level. His power is overrated however. And he has a suspect chin.

I'll say he has some skill. He knows how to use his reach and length to his advantage I'll give him that.

You taking Froch over Ward? Sign it right here. Dont want you to chicken out later.

Idiocy of Michigan Warrior aside, no I don't think Froch beats Ward. Then again I'm not a Euro.

Dream on, Pascal will beat Popkins again, and Bute, Froch, Khan and Pacquiao aren't American fighters ????

The most lucrative fight in Boxing History isn't happening either as America's kingpin prefers to fight women, security guards and the Spadafora's of the World in between vacations! :rofl

The Sport is ****ing dying on your side of the pond :patsch

He didnt beat him the first time.

Ward will school Froch easy. Then its just down to Bute, Ward and Dirrell. Im taking Ward and Dirrell.

    Bradley

    Mayweather.
If the sport is dying in America. Whats it in BRitin where your best fighter is Carl Froch?

Oh and I forgot about Nonito Donaire. The best little man in the game currently.

Seriously though how many Brits are in the Ring magazines top 10 pound for pound?

His feet aren't fast, no, but because of his stance, they never could be. As for his hand speed, it's very underrated because he throws wide punches. His shots are wide, without question, but not slow. I was there when he fought Abraham and I noticed he was the faster puncher and nobody says Abraham is slow, really.

    His chin is not suspect.
I'm not saying he'll beat Ward. I'll decide after the Abraham and Johnson fights but I won't rule it out either.
